Why is it Important to Learn Tajweed for Muslims?

Learn Tajweed

There are many reasons why Tajweed is essential for every Muslim to learn to recite the Quran correctly. First of all, it is obligatory in Islam for every Muslim to learn tajweed so that we can pronounce Quranic words accurately.

Importance Of Tajweed

With Tajweed, the Holy Quran was transmitted from angel Jibrael to Prophet Muhammad PBUH, so it is essential to recite the Quran correctly with Tajweed and how it was revealed.

So, If we don’t follow proper Tajweed, the slightest mistake in recitation can change the meaning of words, and Nauzubillah means something very wrong, causing sin upon the reciter.

Reciting the Quran with Tajweed helps us understand the teachings and commandments of the Quran better and allows the Quran’s teachings and commandments to beautify our recitation.

Final Thoughts

Hi, I am Fajer Arshad From the Free Tajweed Course online Batch 9 at Freelance Working Institute (FWI). I had a good time, but the final tests were long.

I recommend having more tests, monthly every two weeks, so that the Learned rules will be more accessible to remember and the final tests won’t feel more accessible.

The last quarter of the class, which was, I believe, the last half of level 2, was more difficult because there were many new rules that I never learned before, like the Rules of ر and the sift. Alhamdulillah, I am grateful and glad I learned much in this class.

May Allah reward you all for all this effort. I will try to teach my kid Tajweed, Insha Allah, and I look forward to learning and practicing Tajweed more before I teach. I will recommend this course to family and friends, Insha Allah. Insha Allah, I have already tried to practice; this class has also helped me focus on my Tajweed during Quran recitation and Salah.
